To comply with European Union (EU) regulations, all wood packing materials used for shipments to any country in the EU, as well as to Australia, Brazil or China, must meet stringent requirements:
- Specific types of wood must be used
- "Susceptible wood" must be speacially treated
- Packing materials require specific markings to identify treatment location
- Heat-treated lumber must be marked with a "bug stamp"
- In keeping with these requirements for wood packaging, all of ATP’s crating materials meet "non-coniferous standards." This across-the-board practice means that all of ATP’s wood packaging complies fully with EU regulations and that your international shipments will not be delayed
- ATP only uses new packing material
- All our packaging materials fully comply with the new regulations
When you trust your packaging to ATP, you eliminate the risk of shipment damage or delay due to non-compliance.
