8 HR HAZWOPER Training
29 CFR 1910.120, Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Refresher Training For: General and Occasional Site Workers. Part of OSHA Industry Standards. Prerequisite: 40 or 24 hour HAZWOPER training in the last year
Details: The HAZWOPER standard is part of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) General Industry Standards published at Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations (29 CFR). The HAZWOPER standard is Section 120 of the General Industry Standards (29 CFR 1910.120.)
Annual HAZWOPER refresher training is required by 29 CFR 1910.120 (e) (8). To keep the program interesting and timely, we change our program each year in April. Each Refresher program also includes a section on regulatory updates and hands-on exercises.
All training must be completed before employees are permitted to engage in hazardous waste operations.
